Dr Sarah Anne Bennett

Dr. Bennett pursued her passion for medicine after completing a degree in Environmental Science and Health. She obtained an honors degree in graduate entry medicine from the University of Limerick in 2016. Following her internship, she underwent specialist training in General Practice while also pursuing dual studies in obesity from NUIG. In 2021, she graduated from the Irish College of General Practitioners and with honors from the University of Galway with a master's degree in obesity. Her primary focus is in the field of obesity due to her keen interest in preventative and integrated medicine. She currently leads the graduate obesity program for the National Institute of Prevention and Cardiovascular Health and is the founder and clinical lead of the Medical Weight Management Clinic based in Tullamore. Dr. Bennett emphasizes that every case is unique and requires individualized attention at different stages of the health journey. As a guide, she works closely with other health professionals specialized in this field to identify the root causes of obesity and support patients towards better health.
